My Life Purpose Statement

Growth

  • I will be productive with my limited time, energy, and money.
  • I will be responsible for my own success or failure and not dependent on someone else’s choices.
  • I will constantly seek ways to actively learn and grow.
  • I’ll know what to say ‘yes’ to and what to say ‘no’ to.

Legacy

  • I will teach my kids how to be smart, productive and successful members of society.
  • I will do things that has an eternal impact.
  • I will be able to teach others what I have learned.
  • I want to own a business that is scalable.
  • I will be able to retire and still have an active source of income.

Authenticity

  • I will be able to have meaningful connections with people around me.
  • I will see my mistakes and failures as opportunities to learn and change.
  • I will seek input from others smarter, more experienced, or different than me.

Short Term Goals

  • I will earn $15,000 by February, 2013 so I will be able to take my wife to the British Isles for our 20th Wedding Anniversary (April, 2013).
  • I will have my first Internet product online and available by Sept. 1, 2010.
