How To Know If Your Customer Got In A Fight?

Reading Pat Flynn’s Blog today it looks like he has a guest author James Tayo of Entrepreneur Blog’r., (which seems like something new for Pat and one more example of how he is going to continue to grow and develop). James had a quote from Jay Abraham that really caught my attention.

“People will fight much harder to avoid losing something they already own than to gain something of greater value that they do not own”

This has stuck with me today as I am considering the approach to this new niche that I think I’m going to try. In my mind so far I have been trying to clarify what the benefits are if my customers use my product. Instead, I think I will wrestle with what someone can avoid losing if they use my product. Its going to take some work to readjust my mind and see things a little differently.
